German Tote signs deal with Total Performance Data

German Tote has signed a deal with Total Performance Data (TPD).

As a live horseracing data provider， TPD covers race tracking and data monetisation across horseracing events， including all 19 thoroughbred and harness tracks in Germany.

These will start in late March at the Rennbahn Hoppegarten course in Berlin at the launch of the Turf season.

The deal will also cover races such as the Deutsches Derby and the Grosser Preis von Berlin.

Riko Luiking， German Tote Managing Director， said: “After a careful review and trials of different systems， like many others， we chose TPD.

“They have a great system， significant experience and represent value for money.

“We have also been impressed with their hardware partner， GMax， who are already underway and expecting to have all 19 racecourses live by August.”

TPD will be responsible for providing data feeds and odds， which will be displayed to German Tote customers using live graphics.

In other German gaming news， the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL)， the German Gambling Authority， has asked for the Federal Ministry of Justice to rethink planned reforms.
